A Message from Mr. Robert McBride
2011 Heart of the Hamptons Event Chair
It is with great pleasure that I have accepted the opportunity to be the Chairman for the 15th Annual Heart of the Hamptons Ball that will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 on the grounds of the Hayground School in Bridgehampton. While you are making plans for 2011, I hope you will consider the American Heart Association.
The American Heart Association is the Nation’s only voluntary health organization dedicated to funding life saving research for heart disease and stroke, in addition to promoting educational awareness and advocating for legislative change to reduce the prevalence of this devastating disease.
In 2010, the American Heart Association reached its national goal “to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease and stroke by 25%.” But that is not without the participation and action of influential individuals such as all of you!
Let’s keep these goals in mind as we move forth to the coming year. I invite you to support the 15th Annual Heart of the Hamptons Ball. Your participation will allow the American Heart Association to maintain its longstanding commitment to the health and well-being of our communities, and our nation at large.
With heartfelt thanks,
